BEACH SUMMER WEDDING

Summer Beach wedding at Puerto Los Cabos Beach Club. I met Julieta & Thomas back in February of this year (2013) as they were a little stress about their wedding coming up in July and felt they hadnt had much covered. We met for a coffee and talk a little over half an hour. I remember saying to them that this was a process to enjoy each step and to have beautiful memories of. My part was to make this happen and enjoy it with them. Soon after we started working together. They had already all their ideas put together and pretty much we just had to work on who was going to be the team that will put this Dream Wedding together.

We started meeting with all the vendors and talking to them about the ideas they had and just like that it all came together. We started their wedding week a little earlier as Thomas family was travelling all the way from Belgium and of course they had to enjoy the beautiful Los Cabos before the Big Day arrive. We celebrated Julieta & Thomas Civil Ceremony one day before at a Villa in Pedregal as it was a little more intimate. The civil ceremony was very emotional, I had to look away may times as I helped translate the ceremony.  Looking at the happiness of Julieta, Thomas and their families faces was extremely contagious and tears just started coming!! These are the moments that make everything worth it and always thank my coupled for making us part of it!!

The following day Julieta and Thomas got ready at the beautiful Capella Pedregal. The day started early with having all the girls together enjoying a nice brunch at Julieta's Suite while they got pampered and glamoured for the big day by the amazing team of Body Treat Spa. I remember Julieta's big smile when we deliver her bouquet and personal flowers made by Lola from Florenta, words couldnt describe the excitement, happiness and love we felt in this room, Amazing!!! We continued with the day with their ceremony on the beach at the Fundadores Beach Club at Puerto Los Cabos. The background was harmonized by the crashing of the waves and Francisco a La Torre guitar & Violin tunes!! We then moved to the cocktail hour where delicious appetizers and refreshments awaited for everyone while they listen to Mark Rudin's music and enjoyed the sunset. As it got darker we invited everyone to take their seats for dinner to be served. Everyone's attention was take by the 3 languages (Dutch, English & Spanish) spoken through the toasts and speeches to the bride and groom were made. Tears of joy from 2 families from different worlds, cultures and customs  became their ally as they toast for the common goal; "their children Happiness". All this with  the outstanding service and food quality of

Lazy Gourmet helped making this a  whole new experience to everyone that was part of it !!! Before the Dance Floor was taken we decided to cut the cake surrounded by sparklers, Julieta's reaction was the best I have ever seen, her excitement about her wedding cake was very contagious and everyone enjoyed watching her jump up and down with her dress!!

Soon after the dance floor open with their First Dance and the party continued for the entire night, Dj Edwin surely knew how to keep this group from leaving the dance floor!!!!
Thank you to Amy Bennett for capturing this special day and all those little details that described who Julieta & Thomas are, eyes like her do make a difference when catching these moments on a camera!!!

Julieta & Thomas thank you for trusting us with you Big Day and allowing us into your lives. This was a beautiful experience and very excited about the friendship we began!! You are beautiful people and I am very happy to see your life began!!! My best wishes to you today and always!

CATHOLIC CABO SUNSET WEDDING

A June Cabo Wedding and the outstanding Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Chapel were "THE" witnesses of Biannet and Jesse's  "I do".

I remember when I started talking to Biannet, she told that felt so lost and didn't know where to begin.  There is so much to do and I'm not there to meet or see anything . After taking to her I explained that this process was to be fun and easy and that the only thing she needed to do was to answer my questions!  And so It was,  I asked questions and she answered and their day could not have being more perfect. The day started with Neysa Berman Hair & Make-up Services. All the girls enjoyed getting pampered and being together while the services were taking place, enjoying lunch and some drinks at Biannet's room. We continued with a ceremony at the hotel Spanish Looking Chapel and a Cocktail & Reception Dinner at what the hotel calls Villa 17. This area is actually a terrace on the far end of the hotel, next to one of their pools,  with a  stunning view to the pacific ocean and sunset.!   With the help of Let it Be Furniture and the magic hands of Lola from Florenta, we accomplished Biannet's vision of her  wedding. I always say that  a place like Cabo does not need much to look beautiful, but a little touch to represent what they like and who they are, does made it look even better. The celebration started with the lively music of a Mariachi Band  that waited outside the Chapel for the moment that  Biannet and Jesse were pronounced and continued enlivening through out the cocktail hour. They then enjoyed a delicious Buffet Dinner while the sunset was taking place. We continued the party DJ Richie's Music that made everyone spin on the dance floor. We can't forget EM Weddings as they were the ones responsible for making sure all these special moments were capture. At last a special thank you to all pueblo bonito staff, who as always are on top of their service and making sure everything is taken care off and to Denise Acosta (hotel coordinator) who always made sure we had all the help we needed to make this a SUCCESS.

Bee & Jesse thank you for making us part of your day, we enjoyed each step and specially your families Serenades !!!! We are looking forwards to you 1st Year Anniversary and for that round at Cabo Wabo!!!

DESTINATION WEDDING DRESSES

There are really are no rules when it comes to picking your Destination Wedding Dress. It is your day, so you pick the one that YOU like. There are however, some considerations that should be a part of your decision process. If you are for instance, having your wedding during the hot months of  Los Cabos summer, you will most likely prefer a natural fabric, that breathes so that you remain comfortable yet chic.

Think lightweight and airy.  A long train won’t work well with rough terrain. It will gather sand on the beach and quite possibly catch on rocks or others things around the area. For example a long train or veil will work well for a Church or for an inside ceremony, but not so well outside. You need to consider the wind, it may not be strong but still there,  and will take it and your professionally styled hair with it. If you want a long veil for the ceremony have a 2nd option to change too for after your photos are taken and perhaps something shorter or less heavyweight so that you can feel comfortably in.

A large ballroom type gown may require some additional consideration while you travel. Airlines sometimes add charges for a large gown. I recommend taking it on the plane with you and asking the attendant to please hang it in the First Class cabin. (Even if you are not flying First Class, they will not turn down a bride to be’s requestJ)  There will always be some wrinkling as Bridal Gowns are not meant to live in bags!  No worries, we as your Destination Wedding Planners will have options available for you. In a pinch…turn the shower on hot, steam up the bathroom and hang your dress (out of the way of water!) for 15 to 20 minutes.

Also, remember that evenings cool down in Los Cabos, so you might want to bring a matching shawl for later in the evening. Please remember it is your day, so you choose what your personal style is. Just remember, you will be wearing it for at least 3 hours even with a change. So be comfortable and whatever you do……Make certain that you have a final fitting 2 weeks prior to ensure a perfect fit. You will feel better and look great!  We selected  some photo’s that offer a wide range of options so you can start thinking about which direction you will like to go. We hope you enjoy them!!!!
